Thomas Peter Beague '81 was elected President of the Batey Relief Alliance. The Batey Relief Alliance is a humanitarian aid organization that addresses the needs of families affected by poverty, disease and hunger in the Carribean. Dr. Beague owns a dental practice in Elmont.

Eugene Braunwald '47 was recently interviewed in the periodical Circulation Research. Dr. Braunwald, an esteemed cardiologist who has worked at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, discusses his family’s escape from Nazi occupied Austria as well as his ongoing passion for medicine.

Jules Peemoeller, a retired teacher of engineering, has self-published a book that he wrote and illustrated entitled, Egg Roles A to Z. He may be reached at cpeem@aol.com.

Stuart Schube '58, age 70, passed away in Houston on June 4th. Mr. Schube, who served as President of Acorn Ventures, Inc., was co-founder of a Brooklyn Dodgers fan club in Houston.
