Brooklyn Tech Alumni Homecoming

March 27, 2020  &  March 28, 2020

All – Over the last two weeks, the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation has been closely monitoring the situation dealing with the coronavirus. Knowing how important Homecoming is to our alumni, we wanted to make absolutely certain that any actions we would take would focus on the health and safety of our constituents. Based upon evolving news and information disseminated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as various presentations we have seen from our elected officials, we are canceling Homecoming.  All alums who have paid for school-based activities on Friday and Saturday will be issued a refund.   We apologize for any inconvenience but believe that it is prudent for all to avoid travel and mass gatherings as we continue to learn about the coronavirus outbreak, including its severity and transmission.  We will consider combining this year’s Homecoming with next year’s festivities; discussions and information dissemination will happen over the next few months.

If you are part of one of the anniversary classes, please check with your class rep regarding other weekend festivities (parties on Friday, Saturday or Sunday). They will make the determination as to whether or not the event will be held and will have to negotiate with the various venues regarding refunds, etc.

Keep up with our Alumni
