General Information

Welcome to our plans for our upcoming 50th reunion, on April 5- 6th of 2019. We expect the reunion to be an enjoyable, heart-warming and memorable event for all. Here are some highlights of where we are in our planning, and how you can help (we’ll continue to update you):

April 5-6th Homecoming Schedule, Hotel and Travel Information:

Off-Campus Gathering

Join us on Saturday, April 6th at the Brooklyn Sheraton for dinner, drinks, and great company. Prices are $125 per person. All tickets purchased by January 15th will be entered in a raffle for a special gift. March 15th is the last day to register for this event. Visit this page for tickets.

Class Gift

This is a very special opportunity for members of the class of 1969 to be remembered at Tech.  All that is a required is a donation to the class of 1969 class gift to be made and your name will be displayed in the classroom at Tech dedicated to our class. Please visit then, in the box that says “Designation”, click “1969 Class Gift” Please consider donating.

The BTHS Class of 1969 Committee has set a goal of making a $25,000 tax deductible donation to BTHS thereby naming a classroom on our behalf. The classroom will have a plaque installed on the outside of the classroom that reads “Sponsored by the Class of 1969” (with individual names of the contributing graduates engraved). We can select the classroom from a list of available classrooms. We believe that the class gift will memorialize the Class of 1969 and will be a permanent legacy to BTHS and serve as a reminder to current and future BTHS students of the invaluable part that BTHS played in our professional development and success.

This is a very special opportunity for members of the class of 1969 to be remembered and to remember Michael Stabile, a member of the class of 1969 who perished in the WTC attack on September 11, 2001. His name will be included on the plaque and included in the list of class members that make a donation to the class of 1969 gift.

Our Teachers

Some of our teachers who are still alive may attend the Saturday reunion and our off-campus gathering. We are trying hard to arrange this and honor them. If you have contact information for any teachers or want to help locate them, please contact Len Comberiate, one of the class reps.

Updated Contact Information

Regardless of whether you plan on attending the reunion, please be sure that Tech has your current contact information, including mailing address, home and cell phone numbers, and e-mail address.

Lost Classmates

If you or someone you know are on this lost list, please direct them to Jim Crosson so they may update their information. Every person counts!

We can always use more help - tracking down and contacting our classmates and teachers. If you want to makes some calls or send some emails (even if it’s only a few calls), please contact us ASAP.
